Living the Legacy: Carondelet's Commitment to the Community
Carondelet Health Network is a Catholic, nonprofit health care system dedicated to responding to the health care needs of Southern Arizonas since they were first established by the Sisters of St. Joseph, 130 years ago. In fiscal year 2012, Carondelet provided nearly $66 million in Community Benefit to improve the health of our community and increase access to health care. We believe in fulfilling our responsibility to care for our community. It is a commitment our Sisters made back in 1880 and one we still practice every day.
It is the mission of Carondelet Health Network to provide for the health care needs of our community, to embrace the whole person in mind, body, and spirit, and to serve all people with dignity. The values of Carondelet provide the framework for fulfilling this mission, while placing a special emphasis on Service to the Poor. For Carondelet, advancing the healing ministry of Christ is demonstrated through our Service to the Poor. We are proud to respond with a generous and compassionate spirit to persons who are most in need, particularly those who are vulnerable, needy, and disadvantaged.
