Carondelet Health Network Welcomes Experienced Marketing Strategist to Helm
Michelle Campbell has joined the Carondelet Health Network Senior Leadership Team as Vice President of Marketing. In this role, which Campbell assumed in early October, she oversees market development, planning and growth strategies for the Carondelet brand and the Network’s many services throughout Southern Arizona. Campbell will also oversee the Network’s internal and external communications efforts.
As an experienced healthcare executive and marketing consultant, Campbell brings substantial expertise in market strategy, brand building, product development, marketing and customer relationship management. She served as a marketing professional and growth strategist for 15 years at Presbyterian Healthcare Services in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she was Vice President of Marketing and Communications from 2001-2009. Presbyterian is New Mexico’s largest healthcare organization, with 10,000 employees and serves the healthcare needs of one out every three New Mexicans. Campbell directed all of the organization’s marketing, governmental relations, internal and external communications and community benefit functions, and was responsible for the design of marketing programs to attract and retain customers to Presbyterian health plans, hospitals and employed physician group. Under her leadership, Presbyterian’s government relations contributed to the development and passage of constructive healthcare policy that lead to measurable improvement in the health status of New Mexicans.
Campbell, who operated a successful marketing consulting firm during the last two years, is recognized as a passionate leader who can quickly analyze complex situations from multiple perspectives and design financially responsible, customer-centered strategies and tactics that produce measurable results.
Frequently honored for leadership achievements, Campbell received an appointment to Governor Bill Richardson’s Transition Team on Healthcare in 2007 and designation as a healthcare power broker by New Mexico Business Weekly for three consecutive years. Campbell served as a member of several civic, community and professional organizations including the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, New Mexico First and Quality New Mexico. For six years she served on the national governing board of the Ghost Ranch Conference and Education Center of the Presbyterian Church.
Campbell earned her BA in Political Science at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. She is a Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award examiner and qualified for her FAA Single engine pilot’s license in 2009.
