Aphasia Communication Group Purpose:
To provide opportunities for persons with aphasia (following

Brain Injury Support Group
Purpose: For brain injury survivors

Mild Brain Injury Support Group
Purpose: Appropriate for individuals who have mild
communication and/or cognitive deficits secondary to brain
injury. The purpose is to utilize group process to develop
compensatory strategies, provide emotional support, and share
resources and information. No Charge.

Breastfeeding Support Group
Purpose: For new mothers and their infants. The support group
offers a forum for problem solving, baby weights and changing
tables, a comfortable environment to share experiences, a unique
opportunity to meet other moms and form new friendships and
receive support from Lactation Specialists.

Cardiac Wellness Group
Purpose: This close-knit group shares a common bond—surviving
heart disease—and provides structure, healing and inspiration.
For anyone who has undergone heart surgery or has struggled to
manage cardiovascular disease as a patient or a family member,
the group can be life changing—and life-saving.

Caregivers Communication Support Group
Purpose: For spouses, caregivers and family members of stroke survivors and people with other neurological

communication difficulties.

Communication Support Group
Purpose: Appropriate for individuals with communication deficits
due to stroke, TBI or other neurologic etiology including
aphasia, dysarthria, voice disorders and/or pragmatic
disturbances. The purpose is to utilize group process to improve
communication skills, practice compensatory techniques and
receive support from other individuals with communication
difficulties.
