Our facilities:
- Carondelet St. Mary’s Hospital, Arizona’s first hospital, was founded in 1880.
- Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital provides a full-range of comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services.
- Carondelet Neurological Institute, on the campus of St. Joseph’s Hospital, is the largest and most comprehensive facility in Southern Arizona dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of neurological injuries and disorders.
- Carondelet Heart & Vascular Institute, Southern Arizona’s only free-standing acute care facility dedicated to providing high quality cardiac and vascular care, was named a Thomson Reuters Top 100 Hospital for Cardiovascular Care in 2009.
- Carondelet Holy Cross Hospital in Nogales, Arizona is the only inpatient medical center in Santa Cruz County.
- 18 Carondelet Medical Group primary care offices.

In FY 2010, Carondelet Health Network had:
- 212,239 Patient days (Not including CMG visits).
- 141,404 Emergency Room visits.
- 10,965 inpatient surgeries and 16,100 outpatient surgeries.
- 3,716 births.
Community Benefit:
In FY 2010, Carondelet provided $49,906,676, or 8.3 percent of net revenue, to the residents of southern Arizona.
Special Recognition:
- St. Joseph’s, St. Mary’s and Tucson Heart Hospitals* are the first hospitals in Southern Arizona to receive national accreditation as Chest Pain Centers from the Society of Chest Pain Centers (July 2008)
- St. Joseph’s, St. Mary’s and Tucson Heart Hospitals* are designated by the Arizona Department of Health Services, Bureau of EMS and Trauma System, as Cardiac Arrest Centers (December 2009).
- In 2008, St. Joseph’s and St. Mary’s Hospitals were recognized by the American Heart Association as among the best hospitals in the nation for “Get with the Guidelines” compliance in the treatment of cardiac and stroke conditions.
- St. Mary’s received Gold and Bronze awards for the treatment of coronary artery disease, heart failure, and stroke
- St. Joseph’s received a Silver award for the treatment of acute myocardial infarction
- Tucson Heart Hospital* was named a Thomson Reuter’s Top 100 Hospital for Cardiovascular Care (2009, 2007)
- The Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab Programs at St. Joseph’s Hospital are the only ones in Arizona nationally certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
*Tucson Heart Hospital was renamed Carondelet Heart & Vascular Institute on October 6, 2010.
