All of the Carondelet support groups meet on the campus of Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital. They are free and open to the public as appropriate.

Amputee Support Group
Purpose of the group is to provide support, education, information and resources for all amputees. Meets the 1st Thursday of the month 1:00-2:00 PM in the Agave Room in the Medical Pavilion of Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital (1st floor). This group does not meet during the summer. Communication Support Group
Appropriate for individuals with communication deficits due to stroke, TBI or other neurologic etiology with resultant aphasia, dysarthria, voice disorders, and /or pragmatic disturbances. The purpose is to utilize group process to improve communication skills, practice compensatory techniques and receive support from other individuals with communication difficulties. Meets every Tuesday from 11:00AM-Noon in the Outpatient Rehabilitation Group Room, Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital (1st floor). Contact Jack Kriendler at (520) 873-3497
Life After Stroke Support Group
The goal of this group is to provide a forum for families, friends and survivors to learn about stroke and to provide support for each other. Contact Tom Slauson at (520) 218-5004 for meeting dates and times.
Mild Brain Injury Support Group
Appropriate for individuals who have mild cognitive deficits secondary to brain injury. Meets 4th Thursday of the month from 4:00-5:30 PM in the break room in Outpatient Rehabilitation (1st floor). Contact Debbie Johnsen at (520) 873-5299
Spousal Support Group
Appropriate for spouses/significant others of individuals with communication difficulties due to stroke or traumatic brain injury. The group meets from 11:00AM- Noon in the Outpatient Rehabilitation break room. Contact Ed Goulden at (520) 873-3661
