• Health Care Town Hall. On July 1, 2009 U.S. Congressman Raul Grijalva hosted a Town Hall discussion on health care reform and its effects on Arizona's seniors. The meeting was held at Carondelet St. Mary's Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. Watch video.

Serving the Underserved

• Primeros Pasos Clinics. One of the first steps toward having a healthy baby is receiving good medical care before, during, and after your pregnancy. Primeros Pasos clinics provide the attention and information you need to give your baby a good start in life. Read more.
• Tot Shots Clinic. The Tot Shots program was founded in 1998 in response to a health assessment finding that immunizations were not being delivered to certain zip codes in the Tucson community. Watch video.
  

Care for the Community

• Cholesterol Screening. Carondelet Health Network and the Anthony Bates Foundation team up to provide free heart screenings. Watch video.
• Diabetes Community Outreach. Carondelet takes the mystery out of managing your diabetes and puts you back in charge of your health. Read more.
• Faith Community Nurse Network. More than 1,000 people annually receive health services at schools, health fairs and other community events through the Faith Community Nurse Network.  Read more.

Life Care Planning

• Arizona Advance Directive Registry. The Arizona Advance Directive Registry is a FREE database for the storage of advance directives (Living Will, Medical Power of Attorney, and Mental Health Power of Attorney). Office of Arizona Secretary of State.
• National Healthcare Decisions Day. Carondelet is participating in National Healthcare Decisions Day to ensure that its associates and their families have an opportunity to communicate and document their health care decisions. Read more.
• Five Wishes Video This brief video provides an overview on the Five Wishes booklet to help you and your family discuss healthcare decisions at the end of life and the type of medical treatment you do or do not wish to receive. These are difficult conversations to have, but it is important to let your loved ones know what to do and request on your behalf. Watch video.
