It is our mission to provide exceptional healthcare to our patients. We also recognize that some unplanned issues may arise. If you have a concern about any aspect of your care, we ask that you first try to resolve the concern with your nurse. The charge nurse or manager responsible for the unit also may be contacted.
If you feel that your concern was not adequately addressed or would like to speak with someone other than the unit staff, please contact our Patient Advocate at extension 5493 during regular business hours.
If you wish to file a grievance for serious issues, please contact the Patient Advocate or the Unit Manager. Your issues will be investigated and reviewed by a Grievance Committee as soon as possible. You will receive written communication within 7 days and ongoing communication until the process is complete.
You also have a right to file a grievance with the following agencies, whether or not the hospital’s grievance process has been used:
