Primeros Pasos Prenatal Care

One of the first steps toward having a healthy baby is receiving good medical care before, during, and after your pregnancy. At our Primeros Pasos clinic, on Tucson's south side, we provide the attention and information you need to give your baby a good start in life.

Our Primeros Pasos clinic provides comprehensive obstetrical health care services. Free pregnancy testing. Prenatal education classes. From conception through delivery, our highly trained clinical staff is here for you every step of the way. And as a member of the Carondelet Health Network, our obstetrical services include birth and inpatient stay at Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Prenatal Care

At our clinic, you can obtain free pregnancy testing. No appointment is required for this service. We also provide complete prenatal care from conception to post-delivery. During regular office visits, your doctor will check to make sure you and your baby are healthy. If there are any problems, early action will help both of you.

Prenatal Education

We offer a complete prenatal education program so you can learn about:
Childbirth – how to prepare for labor and delivery
Breastfeeding
Caring for a newborn 
Hospital Birth Center Tour

Our doctors are experienced obstetricians/gynecologists who are dedicated to providing you with the care and attention you and your baby deserve. They, along with our well-trained clinical staff, will answer any questions or concerns you may have before, during, or after your pregnancy.
