Linking Policy Overview
The links located at www.carondelet.org (including hyperlinks,
banners, buttons, logos, icons, and/or other referral devices) are
provided strictly for the use and convenience of our visitors.
Unless specifically noted, the appearance of a link does not
constitute an endorsement, recommendation or certification by
Carondelet Health Network (CHN), nor should it be construed as a
representation of any relationship or association with CHN.
In addition, CHN does not share any personal information about
visitors with the websites to which it maintains a link.
Links from CHN
Websites and pages that link to CHN shall:
- Not use any CHN logo or icon without express written
permission
- Link only to a page that is accessible to the public
- Not incorporate content from any CHN website by
in-lining, framing, or other means without express written
permission
- Not present the link in such a manner as to suggest
that CHN has a relationship or affiliation with the site or that
CHN in any way endorses the sponsors or recommends the products,
services, or content offered on the site
All submissions will be reviewed by CHN and are subject to
periodic review for compliance. It is the intention of CHN to review
links on at least a quarterly basis.
Users may submit a link for inclusion by sending an email request to
comments@carondelet.org.
We also reserve the right to review all website linking requests on
a case-by-case basis. CHN is not responsible for the content of the
websites or for the use of information by the websites to which CHN
maintains a link.
Links to CHN
The pages on CHN websites may include hypertext links or pointers to
information created and maintained by other public and private
organizations.
CHN provides these links and pointers solely for our visitors'
information and convenience. When visitors select a link to an
outside website, they are leaving the CHN website and are subject to
the privacy and security policies of the owners/sponsors of the
outside website.
Carondelet is not responsible for the content in physician
websites. If a visitor should click on a physician’s website listed
on a CHN website, a disclaimer pop-up window will appear beforehand
that clearly states:
“Carondelet Health Network is not
responsible for the content of physician websites.”
When CHN provides such links, they must adhere to the following
evaluation criteria:
- Links must be consistent with sound public policy and
support the mission of CHN and its services.
- Links must relate to the mission and purpose of CHN.
- Links must complement and enhance the information on
CHN’s websites.
- Links must adhere to adequate policies regarding
external links and privacy of visitor data.
- If CHN has a formal relationship with organizations or
businesses, www.carondelet.org may link to their sites. All
participating partners in a business venture with CHN shall be
treated equally.
- CHN regularly reviews the quality and usefulness of
the sites in which it maintains a link. However, CHN is not
responsible for the content or privacy policies of outside sites
as noted in the “Disclaimer of Endorsement” below.
- Websites that are separate from www.carondelet.org but
which are funded or supported in whole or in part by CHN are
considered part of CHN’s overall website presence. There are
direct links from www.carondelet.org to these sites without
notification or disclaimer.
Disclaimer of Endorsement
The inclusion of links and pointers to websites is not intended
to assign importance to those sites or to the information contained
on those sites. It is also not intended to endorse or recommend any
views, products or services offered on these sites.
CHN does not control or guarantee the accuracy, relevance,
timeliness or completeness of information contained on a linked
website.
CHN does not endorse the organizations sponsoring linked
websites, and does not endorse the views they express or the
products/services they offer.
CHN cannot authorize the use of copyrighted materials contained
in linked websites. Visitors must request such authorization from
the sponsor of the linked website.
CHN is not responsible for transmissions visitors receive from
linked websites.
CHN does not guarantee that outside websites comply with Section
508 (Accessibility Requirements) of the Rehabilitation Act.
Prohibitions
CHN will not link to any website that exhibits prejudice, bias, or
discrimination of any kind. Furthermore, CHN reserves the right to
deny or remove any link that contains misleading information or
unsubstantiated claims, or is determined to be in conflict with
CHN’s mission or policies.
