What is KidsCare?
  • KidsCare is a low cost, state-sponsored health insurance program that provides medical, dental and vision coverage to eligible children 18 years old or younger.  The plan offers comprehensive coverage.
    • Includes emergency care, doctor office visits, prescription drug coverage, immunizations.

Who Can Apply?
  • Parents, Grandparents, Adult Family Member
  • Designated Representative

  • Immunizations
  • Laboratory and X-Rays
  • Prescription Drug Coverage
  • 24 Emergency Care and Emergency Medical Transportation
  • Behavioral Health
  • Dental Screenings and Treatments
  • Eye Exams and Glasses
  • Hearing Test and Hearing Aids

Cost:
  •  $10 to $25/per month for one child
  •  $15 to $35/per month for two or more children. 
    •  KidsCare will cost no more than $35/per month no matter how many children are in the household. 
  •  Native Americans receive KidsCare at no cost.

 

Eligibility:
  •  Persons 18 years or younger
  •  Resident of Arizona
  •  United States Citizen.  If not a citizen, then a Green Card carrier for 5 years or longer.
  •  Currently uninsured
  •  Household income meets the KidsCare Income Requirements.
