Oct 15, 2024The Arizona Daily Star published a newsletter called "Tucson Time Machine," showcasing photos of St. Joseph's Hospital in the 60s! This is an incredible historical look back at what St. Joe’s looked like at its founding.
"On the evening of May 1, the Most Rev. Francis J. Green, D.D., bishop of Tucson, will dedicate the new St. Joseph'sl to the service of the community," according to a Tucson Citizen article from April 1961. This photo from April 1961 shows the hospital before its grand opening.
