Our expert team of psychiatrists, licensed clinical counselors, social workers, nurses and behavioral health specialists provide personalized treatment for a wide variety of mental health conditions. We offer the right combination of therapy and care for you or your loved one.

Bridges Geropsychiatric Program at St. Mary’s Hospital

Our program offers psychiatric and medical care for people 55 years and older with mental health problems such as Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and substance abuse.

What to Expect

At Bridges, you can rest assured knowing that your loved one will be treated with dignity and respect. Here’s what you can expect when you bring your loved one to our hospital:

  • A thorough psychiatric and medical evaluation
  • Customized treatment plans designed by a team of doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, behavioral health technicians, occupational therapists, art therapists and social workers
  • Individual and group psychotherapy

  • 24/7 clinical team overseeing your loved one’s care

Please be aware that admission to Bridges is voluntary. Patients may refer themselves, or be referred by a doctor, family member, guardian or mental health power of attorney.

O’Rielly Care Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital

The O’Rielly Care Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital offers immediate psychiatric care for adults age 18 years and older who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis and are in need of stabilization. The O’Rielly Center also offers additional services, including detoxification and medication management. Admission is voluntary.

What to Expect

Our highly trained doctors and specialists can help you or your loved one detox from drugs and alcohol, eliminate chemical imbalances and readjust medications to treat behavioral health issues. At O’Rielly, we offer:

  • Compassionate care in one secure unit
  • Medical and psychiatric assessments
  • Detox and stabilization services
  • Crisis intervention
  • Monitoring of prescriptions and other medications
  • Support groups and activities
  • Individual and family therapy, when appropriate
