Excellence in Patient Safety
Carondelet St. Mary’s Hospital and Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital received an “A” rating in The Leapfrog Group’s Hospital Safety Grades (2021, 2018). The Leapfrog Safety Grade is the only rating focused entirely on how well hospitals protect patients from preventable errors, accidents, injuries and infections. Carondelet St. Joseph’s Trauma Center has earned the distinction of Surgical Quality Partner from the American College of Surgeons (ACS).

Excellence in Rehabilitation

At Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital, our rehabilitation program has been recognized by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) for both their cardio and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
Excellence in Surgical Weight Loss
The Surgical Weight Loss Center at St. Mary’s Hospital has been designated as an accredited Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP). Our institution has also earned the notable distinction of Surgical Quality Partner from the American College of Surgeons.
