Our maternity services are designed for your comfort and convenience and include specialized care for you and your child throughout all stages of life, from prenatal care to childbirth and support after you and your child leave the hospital.

Our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital enables us to provide certified care for high-risk mothers and babies.

High Risk Pregnancy

Trained, Compassionate Doctors Ready for the Unexpected

If you have diabetes, a heart condition, hypertension or other special health condition, you are at a higher risk of developing complications before, during and after pregnancy. At Carondelet, you have access to specialized care for pregnancies that are at risk for maternal, fetal or obstetrical complications.

Our highly skilled perinatologists (doctors who specialize in high-risk pregnancies) will work closely with your nurses and doctor to help you have a healthy pregnancy and safe delivery.

If you do have complications and your baby needs intensive care, we offer a certified level 2 enhanced qualifications neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Carondelet St. Joseph’s Hospital where we can provide the high level of care required for high-risk mothers and newborns. Our board-certified neonatologist is available in-house 24 hours a day to meet the needs of our smallest patients.
